Defensive Driving Training

Defensive Driving Training is organized around four core areas: vehicle care, laws and controls, preparedness, and weather and hazard conditions.

This course expands upon that framework through eight focused modules covering: regulatory compliance and CSA scoring, pre-trip inspections and cargo securement, space and speed management, hazard anticipation, adverse weather conditions, complex driving maneuvers, driver fitness and wellness, and emergency response procedures.

These standards align with the OSHA General Duty Clause, Section 5(a)(1), which requires employers to provide a workplace free from recognized hazards, including occupational risks associated with commercial driving.
