What Is UCR?

UCR (Unified Carrier Registration) is a federally mandated program required for motor carriers and businesses that are engaged in interstate commerce (crossing states lines). Paying UCR gov fee is crucial for your commercial transportation business, as failure to register can result in operation halt or potential removal from the road.

Currently there are 41 U.S. states as part of the UCR registration. In this cases, you would select a participating base state as your nearest to your operations.

NONE Participating states are: Arizona, District of Columbia, Florida, Hawaii, Maryland, New Jersey, Nevada, Oregon, Vermont, Wyoming. If you are NOT located within these states or plan on operating outside of these states, UCR is mandatory.
